Many people depend on us in different ways. Think of your family. How do the members of your family depend on you? What promises do you make to the members of your family (i.e. clean up room, brush my teeth, watch baby sister, walk brother home from school)? Now think of your closest friends. How do they depend on you (i.e. Come watch her performance, help him with studying math, listening when they feel sad)? What is a promise that you feel you make to your closest friends– even if you have never said this promise out loud? Now let’s move on to your role as a student or learner. How do your teachers/coaches or other classmates depend on you? What promises do you make as a student/learner? Who else depends on you?
