October Powerful Word – SELF-ESTEEM – Week 1

This week, we’re talking about what it means to have strong self esteem and what we think, do, and say that helps support that strong self esteem. Many people go through life as their own worst enemy – saying mean things about themselves, thinking negative thoughts and behaving in ways that don’t honor their gifts. These people don’t realize the amazing life they could have if they just shift the way they think, talk, and act. Do you know people like this? Jerry Gillies once said: “the strongest single factor in prosperity consciousness is self-esteem: believing you can do it, believing you deserve it, believing you will get it.” How do you see self esteem playing out in the people you interact with each day? As leaders, how can we  help shift the thinking of those we help so that they can achieve their goals and inspire others as well? This week, your Powerful Thought Assignment is to zero in on your own thinking, self-talk and behavior. Does it support high or low self esteem?
