KICKING SET

Striking Set is traditionally performed in a square pattern with Side A moving to 12:00, Side B to 3:00, Side C to 6:00, and Side D to 9:00. In class we typically practice a modern, linear pattern with transitions between sides done in a straight line (to 12:00, to 6:00, to 12:00, to 6:00).

2. Rear (Right) Side Kick
a. Drag
3. Lead (Right) Round Kick

Transition: Right Foot steps to 12;00, Turn and Face 6:00 (Left Neutral Guard)

Side B:
1. Rear (Right) Side Kick
a. Drag

a. Drag (Face 12:00), Look over Right Shoulder
4. Right Back Kick
a. Land in Right Neutral Guard facing 6:00
