5-Week Fitness Challenge Nutrition Guidelines

The following 9 Healthy Eating Basics make up the core of Nutrition Guidelines for our 5-Week Fitness Challenge. You are also encouraged to get a notebook and use it to record your nutrition for the day. Keep it simple! You do not have to measure or list all of the ingredients. The purpose of the  notebook is to help keep you accountable – do you really want that cookie? If so, eat it (see #8), enjoy it and write it down. Be honest! If you find yourself writing down a cookie a day see #9 🙂

Healthy Eating Basics

  1. Stay Hydrated.
  2. Eat Low on the Food Chain.
  3. Eat Fresh and Unprocessed Foods Whenever Possible.
  4. Eat Smaller Portions.
  5. Eat Mindfully.
  6. Eat More Often.
  7. When Tempted Remember the Mantra: “Being Healthy and Fit Feels Better Than That Tastes”.
