February Powerful Word – LOYALTY – Week 1

This week we are talking about the definition of loyalty and what it means in our lives. How would you define loyalty in present day vs in the past? Do you think people are as loyal today as they once were? Family provides grounding for our character and can teach us a great deal about loyalty. Mario Puzo wrote; “The strength of a family, like the strength of an army, is in its loyalty to eachother.” Would you agree with that? If you were giving advice to a younger student whose family was changing through divorce or otherwise, how would you deal with his/her questions about integrity of loyalty? This week, your Powerful Thought Assignment is to rate yourself on a scale from 1 to 10 on your own loyalty. Have there been times when your loyalty has been in question? When has your loyalty been steadfast?
