January Powerful Word – HEALTH – Week 3

This week we are talking about health and physical activity. As we are all here weall know that physical activity is important for optimal health — both physical and mental. When you think about the young people in your life — in our community — or even in our country, how do you see their participation in physical activity? Do you feel that young people have become less active? Does it depend on age? As leaders,  how can we encourage young people to make physical activity part of their daily schedule? How would you encourage someone who isn’t particularly active to get active? This week your Powerful Thought Assignment is to take inventory on your own physical activity. Are you doing enough? Are you engaged while doing it? What adjustments, if any, need to be made?
